Theta Chi brother and guitar-wielding stand up Evan Wecksell captures an energized set list of comedy melodies on his debut album LOL. From crooning about such topics as Internet addiction and cougars, to pining after his "Inflatable Woman" and aspiring to be a male stripper, even dedicating songs to David Hasselhoff and Alex Rodriguez, LOL combines comedic storytelling and anthemic choruses to hit every absurd comedy bone in your body. The CD contains ten studio tracks, five live tracks and a remix of "Platonic Male Companion," detailing Wecksell's search for "bromance."
You can pick up the album on i-Tunes or Amazon.
Brother Wecksell has played on hundreds of college campuses around the county and often does shows for Theta Chi chapters. He has appeared on Comedy Central and VH1; "Campus Activities" magazine named him the "Hot Comedian of 2009." Check out his Facebook fan page here.
