Brother Cole Bixenman Named to NIC's All Fraternity All Amerian Baseball Team

Cole Bixenman, Delta Alpha/Linfield has been named to the North American Interfraternity Conference's 2009 All Fraternity All American first baseball team.

Brother Bixenman, is a catcher for the Linfield Wildcats. For the 2009 season his batting average was .383 with 36 runs, 9 home runs and 53 RBI's. Cole played on the junior varsity team as a freshman in 2008

Off the field, Brother Cole is a business major. He also plays football at Linfield.

Cole attended Todd Beamer High School were he earned 12 varsity letters in football, wrestling and baseball and was team captain in all three sports. He is a two-time all-South Puget Sound League quarterback and threw for 3,800 yards and 25 touchdowns. Additionally he was a regional champion and four-year state wrestling tournament participant.

Nominations were provided by various fraternity headquarters, Greek advisors, sports information directors, individuals via the NIC website and through research by Jay Langhammer. A total of 18 NIC member fraternities are represented from 42 colleges and universities.
