Great Homecoming for Phi @ NDSU

By: Tony Clowe, President of Phi Chapter

Theta Chi's presence during Homecoming at North Dakota State University was very prominent this year. Two brothers were selected for Homecoming court and the chapter was split on who to vote for! Andy Schlicksup, a senior majoring in political science, was nominated by the Pan-Hellenic Council. Andy has served Phi Chapter as Secretary and currently serves as our Marshall and the Inter-Fraternity Council President. Scott Allen, a senior majoring in Athletic Training, was nominated by Phi Chapter of Theta Chi Fraternity. Scott has served the fraternity as Social Chairman and currently serves as the chapter's Philanthropy Chairman.

During Homecoming Week, the brothers went out to support the Andy and Scott at all of the week's events! During the Homecoming Show, the chapter had a skit, which ended up winning the 2008 Judge's Choice for Most Outstanding Act! After the Homecoming Show, it was time for coronation. The anticipation was high and all the brothers were hoping that a Theta Chi would be crowned Homecoming King. When the announcement came, Scott Allen was named NDSU's 2008 Homecoming King! The chapter is very proud of its presence during Homecoming and we are very happy to call the Homecoming King a brother!
